Game Show: WORDLES

1. Each group shall develop a game-show using the words found in the word cloud
or wordle in the excite activity. Create a game for the whole class. The purpose is
to become more familiar with words and to have a deeper understanding of them.
Write the procedure and mechanics.
2. Upload the game you have developed in the link provided in our Moodle
classroom and be ready to execute the game in our succeeding meetings.

WORD PUZZLE GAME


I. Procedure:

*The objective of the game is to correctly unscramble a set of


letters to form a valid word within 30 seconds.

*The game can be played solo or with multiple players. If playing


with multiple players, each player takes turns.
Game Rules:
Starting the Game:

*The game begins when the scrambled word is presented to the


player.
Start the 30-second timer as soon as the word is displayed.
Gameplay:

*The player must unscramble the letters to form a valid word


within the time limit.
The player can write down or say the word they believe is correct.
Time Limit:

*The player has 30 seconds to find the correct word.


If the player fails to find the correct word within 30 seconds, their
turn is over.
Scoring:

*If the player correctly unscrambles the word, they earn one point.
If they do not find the correct word within the time limit, no points
are awarded.
If multiple players are involved, the player with the most points at
the end of a predetermined number of rounds wins.

*The game ends after a set number of rounds or when a
predetermined score is reached.
Tie-Breaker:

*In case of a tie, an additional round is played with a new


scrambled word. The first player to unscramble the word correctly
wins the game.

*For an extra challenge, reduce the time limit to 15 or 20 seconds.


Example of Gameplay:
Scrambled Word: "BCEOFOKA"
Correct Word: "FACEBOOK"
The player must unscramble "BCEOFOKA" to form "FACEBOOK"
within 30 seconds.
Conclusion:

*This word puzzle game is a fun and educational way to challenge


players' vocabulary and quick-thinking skills. Adjust the difficulty
and rules to suit the players' level and enjoy the game!
