Unit test 2
Audio script
Since I was fifteen, I’ve played in a band with five other
people. I’m twenty now. I get on well with people who
are creative in a range of ways but I especially hit it off
with people who like music because I really like music. I
like writing songs and playing the drums. Our band
plays rock music and I write most of our songs,
although everyone helps when I can’t think of the right
word or beat. Sometimes one of the other band
members will have an idea for a song and write it. I
have other friends outside of my music interests but I
have spent most time over the past few years hanging
out with my five bandmates, who are also my best
friends. Each of us is at university so we have to put up
with odd hours when we can catch up with each other
and get on with writing and playing songs. Sometimes,
one of us has fallen out with the others but we’ve
always made up with one another in the end because
we really like each other and we’re all very committed
to the band. Even when we can’t play in the band we
keep in touch with each other. Friendship is about
sharing interests, I think!
