SCRIPT

PART 1. PRELIMINARIES

: Good morning, dear students! Please maintain silence and avoid leaving your seats
because our program will start in a few minutes. Thank you [pause a while].

: Once again, may we request everyone to please settle down. Our program will begin in a
few minutes [pause a while].

: As the world emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic, the education sector has changed in
many ways. For some, the pandemic has been a time of great difficulty, loss, and
uncertainty. For others, it has been a time of reflection, adaptation, and growth. In this new
post-pandemic world, we must all learn to navigate a different landscape, one where the old
rules no longer apply. But with change comes opportunity, and it is up to us to seize it.

: As we welcome this anticipated event, join us as we celebrate this period of recovery,


revival, and redirection in building better normal equipped with full understanding of the role
of Sportsmanship. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 2023 Sports Festival and
Awarding Ceremony. So please take a seat, relax, and enjoy the rest of the morning. I am
____________together with my partner ________ and we will be your masters of
ceremonies for today.

: To formally start the program, we would like to request everyone to please rise observe a
moment of silence for us all to feel the presence of the Lord through our doxology, after
which, we shall remain standing as we pay tribute to our heroes by singing the Philippine
National Anthem, Invocation, Pangasinan Hymn, SDO1 Hymn and Binmaley Hymn through
an Audio-Visual Presentation…

PART II. PROGRAM PROPER

: To formally welcome us, let us lend our ears to our ever-supportive, enthusiastic, and
compassionate Principal IV, none other than Dr. Rizza C. Paragas, to deliver her welcome
remarks. Let’s give her a warm of applause, please.

(Thank you so much Dr. Paragas for the heartwarming message)

: Next in line, for the reading of the contest guidelines may we call on the hardworking and
talented Sports Coordinator, none other than Ma’am Cristine M. Fernandez. A round of
applause please.
