Load Ind 2SP1
Load Ind 2SP1
INTRODUCTION
The Load indicator is designed to accept the output of strain gauge based loadcell. All
the necessary circuits and controls are housed in the indicator. The loadcell is suitably
installed and connected to the indicator. The loadcell output voltage is proportional to
the load acting on it. This voltage is fed to the load indicator separately, where it is
amplified and converted in to digital signal and displayed on the corresponding LED
displays as the weight information directly in engineering units.
The indicator can be programmed through keyboard for Set point and Soft ware
Calibration. The front panel has got a digital display, set point indication facility and a
keyboard. The display can indicate the following.
The Digital Load indicator is designed to accept strain gauge transducer (Load cell). The
output of the transducer connected to this indicator is processed by a microprocessor
based circuit consisting of fully solid state devices and integrated circuits.
The load is sensed by a strain gauge based loadcell. The output of the loadcell which is in
analog form is fed to the digital indicator separately where it is converted into digital
signal and displayed on the LED display. Indication on digital display eliminates the
ambiguity in reading and avoids parallax error.
The load sensing primary column is made of corrosion resistant super tough steel alloy of
high tensile strength. The stress developed due to the load, is sensed with four precision
foil type strain gauges bonded to the column. The strain gauges are connected to form a
balanced wheat stone bridge network. The temperature characteristics, sensitivity and
linearity are excellent. Further, the load cells are so well designed that their output are
not influenced by stray magnetic fields in the vicinity. The mechanical dimensions of
the loadcell support are standardised so that the replacement of the sensors of other range
is quickly accomplished.

Likewise set the rest of the digits also.
Press TARE/ENT key. Instrument goes to next Set-Point programming mode and on
completion of SET 4 Value, the display comes out of programming mode and will
display the load.
Whenever the display is comes to the SET -1 Value a relay and the respective LED are
energised. Whenever the display comes to SET-2 Value a relay and the respective LED
are energised. Like wise whenever display comes to SET -3 & SET-4 Value respective
LED and relay are energised.
HYSTRESIS
This Value is used to reduce the chattering of relay when that SET is achieved
The default value is 2 .
.
5.2.0 HARDWARE CALIBRATION:-
Ensure that there is no load on the transducer. Keep TARE/ENT key pressed
and switch ON the instrument with the switch provided at the back panel. The
system will display `H-CAL’. Release TARE/STR key once the ‘H-CAL’ has
appeared. Now the equipment is ready for Hardware TARE & CALIBRATION
