General
2. A Special National Integration Camp (SNIC) for cadets from all NCC
Directorates of India will be held at GIET Engg College, Rajamahendravaram from
02 Oct 2024 to 13 Oct 2024 under the aegis of NCC Group HQ, Kakinada on behalf
of NCC Dte(AP & Telangana), Secunderabad.

6. The duration of the Camp is 12 days from 02 Oct 2024 to 13 Oct 2024.
Strength
8. All Dtes having more than one State/ Union Territory will furnish a certificate
signed by DDG that all States/UTs in their jurisdiction have been represented in their
Dte Contingent sent for the SNIC.
Eligibility Conditions
(a) Disciplined and volunteer SD/SW cadets who have not attended
similar camp earlier.
Orientation Training
10. To draw maximum benefit from this camp, orientation training be imparted to
the cadets at directorate level covering the following aspects:-
Camp Appointments
13. The detailment of Advance Party, Main Party, Rear Party, Clerical Staff and
vehicles for the camp are as per Appendix ‘K’.
Reception
(a) Duty JCO/ Medical JCO and NCO ex 18(A) Bn NCC. Weighing
machine (Scale) to be kept for check of weight and general health of Cdts on
arrival.
Documentation
15. The participating Directorates/Gps will submit the following documents at the
Reception Centre on arrival at the camp failing which cadets will be returned to the
concerned unit/institution. Contingent Commander will be responsible for correctness
of documents and stores. The following documents will be deposited on arrival:-
TRAINING INSTRUCTIONS
Training Schedule
16. Training activities and Inter-Directorate competitions will be conducted as
pertraining programme. These are highlighted in the succeeding paras:-
(a) Cultural Competition. As Inter Directorate cultural competition will be
held during the camp. Each Dte will present a state specific cultural
dance/ballet. The cultural activities will aim at bringing out popular folk art
and dance forms originating from the State the cadets represent. Necessary
costumes and accessories, music CDs, musical instruments etc., required
for this competition will be brought by the contingents. The same will be
assessed and prizes awarded. All contingents should come well prepared
and carry costumes for the event. Minimum of 07 cadets will participate in
the event.
(b) NIA Presentation – 20 minutes duration.
(c) General Knowledge quiz.
(d) Debate.
(e) Essay writing.
(f) Rangoli competition.
(g) Volley ball and basket ball competition.

Lectures
Career Counselling
18. Personality development and career counselling lectures will be conducted
during the camp by the following:-
(a) ARO, Visakhapatnam.
(b) Teams from IAF and Indian Navy.
Presentation
20. Each Directorate contingent will be prepared to give a presentation on their
respective state on similar lines of NIAP. Contingents shall come prepared for the
same.

(d) Korangi Wild Life Sanctuary. Korangi Wild Life Sanctuary is the
second largest surviving stretch of mangrove forests in India with 24
mangrove tree species, and more than 120 bird species. It is home for the
critically endangered white backed vulture, and long billed vulture. It is 18
Km away from Kakinada on the Yanam state highway, nestling on the deltaic
branches of Gouthami and Godavari Rivers at Kakinada Bay.

(c) Security Check. A security kit check of all the Cadets attending the
camp will be carried out for checking that Cadets are not carrying any sharp /
dangerous objects with them.
Discipline
(c) Cadets will not carry valuables / Jewellery with them. Cadets carrying
cash above Rs.1,000/- will deposit the amount with Deputy CampCommandant
for safe keeping.
(d) Cadets will keep their living area always neat and clean.
(g) All standing orders enforced in camp will be strictly adhered to.
(h) Indiscipline will not be tolerated under any circumstances and those
found guilty will be dealt under Army Act /NCC Act and Rules and will be
returned to their respective units.

ADMINISTRATIVE INSTRUCTIONS
Clothing stores and equipment
25. Each Directorate contingent will bring the following items in addition to the
items enumerated at Appendix ‘J’
(a) Items required for the cultural and NIAP competitions.
(b) Respective Directorate Flags - 02 (Two)
Messing
27. Only one cookhouse will be established in the camp for all ranks. Officers,
PI Staff and cadets, will consume the same food. All campers will bring their own
plates, mugs for their individual use. Advance party will make their own
arrangements for their messing. All regular officers, GCIs and PI Staff will pay the
messing charges at the rate of Rs.220/- per day for 12 days on the first day of the
Camp to the Accountant and obtain official receipt.
Camp Funds
28. All participating Directorates (Less Andhra Pradesh and Telangana
Directorate) would remit the Camp Funds as per the details attached at Annexure
to Appendix ‘L’ by means of Demand Draft in favor of Camp Commandant, SNIC
2024 payable at SBI Kakinada, Kakinada District (Andhra Pradesh). The Bank
Draft must be forwarded so as to reach Commanding Officer, 18(A) Bn NCC, IMA
Road, Siddhartha Nagar, Kakinada 533003, Andhra Pradesh latest by 25 Sep 2024.
(a) Messing
Security of Belongings
30. Contingent Commander/escort will ensure that their cadets do not keep any
costly valuable articles, jewellery or excessive cash and Mobile/Cell Phone with
them.
Leave
31. No leave will be granted to any Officers/PI Staff/Civilian Staff during the
camp.
Out Pass
32. No out pass will be issued by the Camp Adjutant without the permission of
the Camp Commandant. Any cadet found absent without valid out pass will be
returned to parent Dte on the same day and disciplinary action will be initiated.
Out of Bounds
33. All surrounding areas, shops, market places etc., are placed OUT OF
BOUND for all ranks unless specifically authorized by the Camp Commandant.
Bathing in ponds/rivers/canals, other than established bathing points in the camp is
strictly prohibited.
Medical Fitness
34. Prior to dispatch by the respective Directorates, all cadets will be medically
examined by a Government Medical Officer who will certify that cadets are
medically fit and vaccinated/inoculated and free from contagious diseases. Special
medical screening will be carried out to ensure that no cadet is suffering from any
contagious disease.
MI Room
35. MI Room will be established in the camp for the duration of the camp.
Cases of serious illness will be evacuated to the Govt District Hospital,
Rajamahendravaram -11 Km, or Peddapuram -31 Km. The duty ANO will send the
sick cadets to the MI Room at 0800 hrs every day. An ambulance will always be on
standby. The MI Room will be manned for 24 hours for complete duration of the
Camp.
Fire Fighting
36. Camp Senior JCO would ensure that adequate Fire Fighting equipment is
carried and the requisite Fire Points are established in the Camp.

CO-ORDINATING INSTRUCTIONS
Rail reservation
37. All contingents are requested to make their to and fro reservation for travel
well in advance. Keeping in view the long distances involved, participating
Directorates are requested to do return journey reservations for their ANOs/Cadets.
Contingents should plan to leave on 13 Oct 2024(FN) / (AN).
ETA
38. The contingents coming from other states are requested to intimate the
following details to the Dy Camp Comdt, Spl NIC, C/o 18 (A) Bn NCC, Kakinada,
533003, Andhra Pradesh (E-MAIL ID:[email protected]) so that
arrangements can be made to receive the contingents & transport them to the camp
site
Payment of TA/DA
40. Payment of TA/DA for ANOs and Cadets and Rank Pay for ANOs of all other
Directorates is to be made by the Parent Dte. No payment will be made by the
Camp.
CONCLUSION
44. These instructions are broad guidelines and are by no means all
encompassing. Intelligent and judicious interpretation of these on the part of all
concerned will help achieve the basic aims set for the camp.
