SSC CGL 2024 Study Material for English Language

English language section of the SSC CGL 2024 exam can be divided into 4 parts - Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Grammar, and Verbal Ability. English
Language section contains 25% weightage of the SSC CGL Tier-I Exam while In tier 2, It has higher weightage, Candidate can secure 135 Marks for 45

Around 2 - 4 questions are expected from each topics of the General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability in Tier 1. To Prepare for SSC CGL General Intelligence
& Reasoning Ability, candidates should begin by practicing Modern Approach to Verbal Reasoning & Non-Verbal Reasoning by Dr R.S. Aggarwal.

Quantitative Aptitude section is included in both tiers of the SSC CGL Exam. In Tier 1, total of 25 questions are asked while in Tier 2 total of 30 questions are
asked which will have total weightage of 90 marks. On average, 3- 6 questions each can be expected from topics like Average, Compound & Simple Interest,
Percentages, Time work & wages, Mensuration, Algebra, and Data Interpretation. To start the preparation, NCERT Maths from Grade 6 to Grade 11 and Dr. R.S
Agarwal’s Quantitative Aptitude are considered to be good sources.
