JONA: It was in the year 1935 when BUYO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

was established. Since then many minds were opened, many


dreams were achieved, and many lives were changed.
ROMAR: As truth be told, homecoming never gets old. To look
backward for a while is to refresh the eye, to restore it, and to
render it the more fit for its prime function of looking forward. It's
surprising how much memory is built around things unnoticed at
the time.
BOTH: Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to
PAGHALYAW 2023, the first ever Grand Alumni Homecoming of
Buyo Elementary School with the Theme: Pakig-usad kag
Paghirumdom pakadto sa Progresibo na Eskwelahan san Buyo.
JONA: To formally start our program may we request everybody to
stand for the prayer through audio presentation.
ROMAR: Please remain standing for the singing of the Philippine
National Anthem to be led by Mrs. Marissa B. Molato, Teacher II of
Buyo Elementary School
JONA: At this moment, may we call in the beautiful, available and
ready to mingle Ma’am Jennifer A. Asne, Teacher I of Buyo
Elementary School for the opening remark.
ROMAR: And now, for the presentation and recognition of batches
let’s start with BATCH 1974!!! Let us hear the voices of BATCH
1974.

ROMAR: And now let us witness the selected pupils of Buyo


Elementary School as they showcase their talents in dancing. A
round of applause please.
JONA: Thank you pupils for that amazing number, you truly are
talented. At this point, for the introduction of the guest speaker,
let us have the brilliant Master Teacher I and one of Buyo
Elementary School pride, Mrs. Wilma A. Alindogan. Let’s give her
a round of applause please.
ROMAR: Let’s hear the Speech of the Guest Speaker, Mr. Enrique
R. Rimonte, A round of applause please.!!!
JONA: Thank you for your wonderful message, Mr. Enrique R.
Rimonte, and thank you for being an inspiration to Buyo
Elementary School.
ROMAR: And now to award the Certificate of Recognition, may we
request our PSDS Madam Elisa R. Heraldo, Brgy. Captain Levi D.
Heraldo Jr. and Mr. Rosauro B. Caparino Jr. to be on stage and be
part of the Congratulatory Panel.
JONA: At this point let us again witness another intermission
number from selected pupils of Buyo Elementary School, Let’s
give them a round of applause.
ROMAR: Thank you pupils, at this juncture may I call in our
dynamic Public Schools District Supervisor, Madam Elisa R.
Heraldo for a message, A round of applause please.
JONA: Thank you madam Elisa R. Heraldo for a very inspiring
message. An intermission number coming from Batch 2002, Mr.
Cherry Rimonte. Let’s give him a round of applause.
ROMAR: And now, let us all witness the PRESENTATION OF THE
CANDIDATES FOR ALUMNI KING AND QUEEN. Let’s start with
BATCH 1974.

ROMAR: To give us his message, may I call in the active and ever
supportive father of Brgy. Buyo, Brgy. Captain Levi D. Heraldo.
JONA: And now , let’s have the awarding of certificate of
recognition to the Participant Batches and Retired Teachers. May
we request again our PSDS, Madam Elisa R. Heraldo, Brgy.
Captain Levi D. Heraldo, Mr. Enrique R. Rimonte and Mr. Rosauro
B. Caparińo to be part of the congratulatory panel. To the
batches, Please choose your representative to get your

awarding of winners for Alumni King and Queen 2023. Let’s start
with 2nd Runner UP. Our 2nd runner up is from BATCH __________.
ROMAR: To pin the sash (see invitation)

ROMAR: And now ladies and friends, let us all witness an


intermission number from BUYO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL teaching
staff.
JONA: Thank you teachers, at this moment may I call in our Newly
Elected President of Alumni Association, Mr. Enrique R. Rimonte
for a message.
ROMAR: And now, before we end this program, may I call in the
person behind this wondrous occasion, no other than, the
hardworking principal of Buyo Elementary School, Mr. Rosauro B.
Caparińo Jr. for the acknowledgement.
JONA: Thank you so much Sir Taulo.

BOTH: Thank you so much everyone for being with us tonight. It is


indeed a great pleasure and honour to be your hosts. I am Jona P.
Labriaga and Romar E. Mirasol saying “ Your Alma Mater is like a
mother, patiently accepts all your hoots but proudly boasts your
achievements to the world…. No wonder why our Alma Mater is
called our second Home!!” please do enjoy the rest of the
evening.
