20. Why have you not applied for a Master’s degree in your own country?
The education system in my home country, Bangladesh, lacks the modern updates found in the
UK, particularly in course syllabus and modules. This gap led me to pursue a foreign degree, as
I believe a UK-based education will provide me with the most current and relevant knowledge.
As a job seeker, I value time and practical education, which are essential for a successful career.
Unfortunately, the lengthy postgraduate/undergraduate programs in Bangladesh could delay
my career progress, impacting my age and job opportunities. By earning a degree from the UK,
I expect to receive a more attractive salary, as employers highly value the quality and prestige of
a UK education.
OR,
In Bangladesh, the education system and course materials are outdated, which made me look for
better options abroad. A degree from the UK provides up-to-date, practical knowledge that is
crucial for my career. Since I’m actively job hunting, I need a quick and hands-on education.
Postgraduate/ undergraduate programs in Bangladesh take too long and can delay my career. A
UK degree will not only speed up my education but also boost my salary prospects, as UK
qualifications are highly valued by employers.
