ANALYZE
Analyze the routines set by the Resource Teacher by answering the following questions.
1. Were the routines effective in ensuring discipline and order in the class? Why? Why not?
Yes, the routines implemented by my RT ensures discipline and order in the classroom.
From arriving and going home from school, the students already knows the sequence of
their routine. They know when to line up for recess, they know when it's already for class
and they must be already seated, and they also know that they have to pick up their own
trash before going home with their guardians. The routines made the students be
disciplined through following the sequence of the routines.
2. Which of those routines were systematic and consistently implemented? Explain your
answer.
I noticed that students never forget this to follow this routine, to fall in line for their
recess. Every breaktime, they will already form a line and not just quickly go to outside
the room. Whey they are already lined up, they will my attention or my RT's and ask if
they already go to the canteen. And when they were given the permission, they would
walk through the pathway still in the line on their way to the school canteen.
REFLECT
OBSERVE
Observe a class and list down the classroom rules formulated by the Resource Teacher.
Cite the importance of these rules.
Classroom rules are imperative and must be reinforced for learners' safety and security.
Rules also teach discipline and self-control. Rules eliminate stress and will provide a more
pleasant, secured and non-threatening environment. Rules ensure the students' engagement and
focus in their classroom activities.
1. E.g. Read directions well. -Ensure less error in answering the activity.
2. Sit still at your designated seats. -Avoid accidents and injuries of students.
4. Wait for your guardian inside the classroom. -Ensure students’ safety.
5.Bring your own plastic/snack box. -Teach proper waste management to students.
1. Analyze each given rule. What circumstances led to the formulation of the rule?
Rules are formulated to teach students the importance of following them and be
disciplined. They are established to create a safe, and order classroom. These will also
enable students to let them know their limits and to be responsible in everything they do as
rules have their consequences if gets neglected. That way, it will foster a sense of self-
discipline and practicing good behavior to the students.
2. Are classroom rules really important?
Yes, classroom rules are essential for creating a positive learning environment. They
provide structure, set clear expectations, and promote respect and responsibility among
students. When rules are in place, students understand what behaviors are acceptable,
which reduces disruptions and allows more time for learning. Well-defined rules also
ensure fairness, as all students are held to the same standards.
REFLECT
Reflect on the various classroom rules set by the Resource Teacher. Will you have the
same rules? If not, what rules are you going to employ? Explain your answer.
Yes. From what I’ve observed, my RT’s classroom rules are effective and she has taken
all the considerations fro all students. If I were to have my own class, I will definitely
implement the same rules as its goal is to provide a safe, respectful, and friendly
atmosphere inside the classroom where everyone feels heard and included. The rules
implemented also encourage every learners to be responsible and disciplined that will
enable them to be successful nit just in academics but also their character growth.
SHOW Your Learning Artifacts
