General Instructions :
1. Question paper comprises five sections – A, B, C, D and E. There are 39 questions in the
question paper.
2. All questions are compulsory. However, an internal choice is provided in some questions.
A student is expected to attempt only one of these questions.

36. A plane mirror is a surface made up of plane glass plate having a layer of reflecting material 1+2
like silver nitrate or aluminium behind it. A plane mirror is formed by making one surface of +1
the mirror opaque by silvering and then by a thin coating of red lead oxide paint. Silvering is
done because silver reflects the maximum light falling on the mirror. If silvering is not done
the light rays falling on the mirror will pass through it.

b]A box is placed on three different surfaces: a marble floor, a cardboard sheet, and
sandpaper. The minimum forces required to simply move the box on the surfaces are
Fm , Fc and Fs respectively. Write the given forces in the increasing order. Give a reason
