Internet users in Bangladesh from 2000-2012 (in crore)

The graph illustrates the successive rate of the Internet users in Bangladesh. The survey period ranges from 2000 to 2012.The survey during these 12 years
shows that the number of the Internet users is rising gradually. In 2000, the first year of the survey period, 0.31 crore people use the Internet and in 2002
it rose to 1.5 crore in number. This number is almost 50 times more than that of 2000. The number of Internet users increased to 2.43 crore in 2003 that is
also remarkable. In 2005, the number of Internet users rose to 3 crores. We notice that the greatest increase in the number of Internet users in between
2005 and' 2007 ranging from 3.00 crore to 5.00 crore. In 2007, 5.00 crore people used the Internet which rose to 5.56 in 2009. In the final year 2012, the
number of Internet users was 6.14.
However, the graph shows that the tendency of using the Internet is gradually increasing in compliance with the demand of the modern age. This is badly
required in view of the demand of the present age to keep pace with the other countries of the world.

2. The graph below shows the number of Internet users in town and village from 2010 to 2015: Describe the graph in 150 words. You should
highlight and summarize the information given in the graph.

Percentage of the number of internet users in towns and villages 2010-2015

The graph, the outcome of a survey, indicates the percentage of, the number of internet users in towns and villages. The survey period ranges from 2010
to 2015.
The graph covering these 6 years shows that the percentage of the number of Internet users is rising rapidly and constantly. In 2010, the first year of the
survey period, we find that the number of Internet users in towns. was 10% of the city dwellers and it rose to 14%of in the next year. On the other hand,
the number of Internet users in villages was only 4% of the total villagers in 2010 which rose to 5% in 2011. The next year that is in 2012 Internet users
rose from 14% to 20% in towns and from 5% to 8% in villages. The graph indicates the rapid increase of the Internet users both in towns and villages. The
year 2013, shows the Internet users in towns and villages to be 27% and 13% respectively. In 2014, we notice that the number of Internet users in towns
rose to 35% which was 27% in the previous year. In 2015, the Internet users in towns and villages increased to 45% and 25% respectively. Though the
percentage of Internet users in villages increased rapidly rising from 4% to 25% in 5 years, it was small compared to the 45% users in towns.
However, the tendency of using Internet is increasing rapidly both in towns and villages owing to its great utility in modern and globalized world. Overall,
the graph shows the increase of Internet users in villages was more than that in town.

Ans:
Population growth of Bangladesh from 2005 to 2012 (in crores)
The bar diagram given in the question represents a survey carried out on the population growth of Bangladesh covering 8 years from 2005 to 2012.
As we find in the bar diagram, in 2005 the total population was 13.81 crore which rose to 13.99 crore in 2006. In these two years, the population of the
country was under 14 crore. However, the population of Bangladesh in 2007 and in 2008. was 14.18 crore and 14.35 crore respectively. We see that there
is no noticeable growth of population in one year. In 2009, the population was 14.51 crore which rose to 14.67 crore in 2010. In 2013, the population was
14.85 crore. In one-year, little increase is seen in the population. However, in the last year of the diagram we observed a positive change in the. population
of 14.02 crore in 2012. In last 8 years (2005-2012), the population of the country didn't exceed 15 crore. It is a positive sign of Bangladesh which is heading
towards achieving the status of a developed country.

highlight and summarize the information given in the graph.

Ans :
The number of people living below the poverty line from 1995-2010
A survey has been carried out on the number of people living below the poverty line covering a period of 15 years from 1995 to 2010.In the graph, we
notice 35% of the people were living below the poverty line in 1995. The situation kept on deteriorating until 2003, when 45% of the people live below
poverty line. The percentage of the people living below the poverty line came down to 30% in 2007 and 28% in 2010; indicating a positive picture of the
country's economy. A careful evaluation of the graph indicates an alarming situation from 1995 to 2003, when the picture of poverty was really dreadful.
But afterwards, the situation improved and the poverty level came down. A substantial analysis of the graph reveals that the overall economic condition
of the country was improving though there was a negative picture at the beginning.

Literacy rate of Bangladesh from 1995 to 2010

Here the graph shows the literacy rate of Bangladesh over a period of 15 years from 1995 to 2010 through vertical columns. It also shows the fluctuations
of rise and fall of literacy rate. According to the information of the graph, in. 1995 the literacy rate of the country was 38.1%. In five years, it increased
greatly and in 2000, the rate stood at 56%. But sadly after 2000 the rate began to decrease. As such in 2001, the rate came down at 47.9%. Sticking to this
decreasing tendency, the rate stood at 43.1% in 2003. Then the rate of literacy again began to rise and we see a great increase in 2010. In the year 2010 it
reaches to 56.8%. Thus, it is clear that literacy rate in Bangladesh has a fluctuating tendency; sometimes it increases and sometimes it decreases. In fact,
literacy rate is connected with some important socio-economic factors such as poverty, people's consciousness about the importance of education,
government's sincere attempt and good monitoring system, etc.

The graph as shown in the question paper shows some of the most terrible road accidents which occurred during the Eid-ul-Adha festivals cover a duration
of five years (2010-2014). As per the statistics given in the graph, we find that in 2010, 45 people died and 113 people were injured. In 2011, 46 people
died and 200 people were injured. Again in 2012, 40 people died and 125 people were injured. However, in 2013, there is a sharp decline in both death
and injury rates. Only 10 people died and 8 people were injured. But, in 2014, there was a sudden rise in the rate of accidents as well as in the rate of
casualties where 26 people died and 43 people were injured. A close study of the graph gives us the picture of casualties in an uneven way. The number
of casualties was the highest in 2011, being 46 deaths and 200 injuries. It is a matter of hope that at the later part of the time frame the number of casualties
dramatically came down till. 2013 providing us with a positive idea. Though the closing year gives a different notion. However, all concerned have to be
careful regarding road accident, particularly during the rush hours.

The choice of profession by educated people in recent times
The graph shows that the choice of profession by different educated people in recent times. Six categories of jobs are mentioned in the graph - these are
farming, business, govt.jobs , research work, banking and teaching.
In the graph we see that govt. job has occupied the first position. About 60% of the educated people prefer govt. job as their profession. In the field of
educated people's choice of profession, banking has occupied the second position. About 40% of the educated people select banking as their profession.
Teaching is the third option. The percentage of people who choose teaching as their profession is about 38%. After teaching comes the turn of business
which is the fourth position occupying about 20% of the total, educated people. Undoubtedly, farming is also called the key to our national progress. But
unfortunately, only 10% of the educated people are engaged in this sector: If the educated people are interested in farming, it can be said without doubt
that they will succeed. Our country will also go forward with their success. At last, comes the research work, which engages only 8% of the educated
people. It is not possible to give such guarantee that every educated person will get government job So, to summarize the graph, we want to say with an
emphasis that it is high time some of the educated people made up their mind to select farming and business as their profession.
