SESSION 2024-25
CIRCULAR FOR CLASS IX ORIENTATION

Dear Parents,
Congratulations to you and your ward on the successful completion of this
academic year. We welcome you to new academic session 2024-25 and look
forward to your cooperation in all our endeavours to enable your ward to
become confident and a worthy human being in future too. Thus, an orientation
programme is being organized to give a brief insight about the processes of the
school. It is to inform all parents that, attendance for the orientation programme
is mandatory. The details of the programme are as under:

VENUE: School Auditorium


DATE: 1st April 2024, Monday- For Class VIII- A and B Promoted to Class IX
A and B
2nd April 2024, Tuesday- for Class VIII C, D and E promoted to Class
IX C, D and E
TIME: 8:00 A.M. Sharp
Entry Gate: Gate no 4
 Parents are requested to be punctual and at least one parent must attend
the orientation session.
 Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula is a ‘Cell Phone Free Zone’ therefore, all
parents are requested to deposit their phones at the school gate.
 In case, parents are unable to attend the Orientation Programme
scheduled on 1st / 2nd April 2024, they are requested to kindly intimate
about the same well in advance, and in writing on
[email protected] and copy to [email protected]

Kindly note the following: -


 The session will commence from 1st April 2024.
 The school timings will be from 7:45a.m. to 2:35p.m. The school gates
will close at 7:45 am sharp and no student will be allowed to enter the
school after this, hence ensure your ward is punctual from day one.
 The class schedule will be shared with students on first day of school.
 Fill the personal information pages in school diary as soon as you receive
the diary. Please read through all pages of school diary to apprise yourself
of all rules and regulations.
 You, as parents, are requested to monitor your ward’s seriousness in
attending the classes and completing the assignments.
 Please ensure your child packs the bag properly and carries all the things
required during the day. Any request during school hours for handing
over books/water bottle/tiffin etc. shall not be entertained. The rules are
for the safety, security, and betterment of your ward.

 School has the policy to shuffle the sections of the students. Any request
for change of section shall not be entertained. Please check the Schoolpad
account of your ward for knowing his/her section in session 2024-25 on
1st April, 2024.
Discipline:
 Disobedience or misbehaviour of any nature will invite strict disciplinary
action up to the extent of expulsion from the class.
Books:
 All the books and notebooks to be covered neatly with transparent sheet
and should be well labelled.
 On first day of school bring
 Five notebooks (one per subject with proper format)
 One rough notebook
 The first page of every notebook must have the given format

 Do not carry workbooks/ readers to school on the first day.
 It is important to keep in mind that the upkeep of notebooks & workbooks
require your attention as they would be graded every unit for
maintenance, neat work and correction work.
Uniform:
 Students should come in complete summer uniform from 1st April, 2024.
 White uniform to be worn on every Monday
 House T-shirt with black lower to be worn on all Thursdays & Saturdays.
 Rest of the days students to wear grey uniform.

Meeting the Class teacher/ subject teacher


 Parents need to take prior appointment from concerned teacher for
meeting. Teachers would not meet the parent directly at any time during
working hours or at time of dispersal. We understand that mostly parents
belong to working category but the teachers do have their assignments to
attend to.
 PTMs are scheduled as and when the need is felt. We gently remind you
not to interact during dispersal time with teachers as this hampers the
smooth and safe dispersal of students.

Dispersal of the students


 Please inform the class teacher well in time mode of transportation for
your ward through diary note.
 Please be on time as you come to collect your ward during dispersal time.
 Keeping the traffic menace in mind, kindly do not stay back to meet and
greet your friends.
 If due to any reason, the child could not come in his/her bus or van in
morning then do inform at the reception or through a message to class
teacher to avoid unnecessary panic in the afternoon.
