THIS IS AN ESTIMATE BASED OFF A VISUAL INSPECTION. IT DOES NOT TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION HIDDEN
DAMAGES THAT MAY BE DISCOVERED DURING THE REPAIR PROCESS. THESE HIDDEN DAMAGES MAY EFFECT
BOTH THE COST OF REPAIR AND TIME IT TAKES TO COMPLETE THE REPAIRS. IT ALSO DOES NOT TAKE INTO
CONSIDERATION THE POSSIBILITY OF MOSTLY PLASTIC PARTS BREAKING DURING THE TEAR DOWN PROCESS.
THIS ESTIMATE ONLY REFLECTS CURRENT PART PRICES THAT MAY CHANGE FROM THE MANUFACTURE OR
DISTRIBUTOR. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING!
As a disclaimer, there are incidences when your vehicles original equipment manufacture parts distributors are willing
to discount the price of parts to compete with the aftermarket or used part prices. In these cases our estimate may
list parts as aftermarket, lkq, or opt OE but we are able to put on a original manufacture part on your vehicle. There
is no added cost to you or your insurance company for this service.
* On May 16, 2019, Oregon Governor Kate Brown signed House Bill 3427 into law. The new Corporate Activity Tax
(CAT) became effective January 1, 2020, and is imposed on businesses [gross revenue] for the privilege of doing
business in Oregon. The legislation accomplishes the following: establishes a ???Fund for Student Success??? that is
separate and distinct from the state's general fund. Adopts a new Corporate Activity Tax (CAT) imposed on all types
of business entities. The CAT is in addition to the state's corporate income tax. Revenue from the CAT will be
transferred to the Fund for Student Success and will be used for education spending. The legislature did not define
complete rules for how the tax is to be administered and left that up to the Oregon Department of Revenue (ODR) to
decipher. Oregon is the only state in the country with this tax and it is uncharted territory for the ODR.
This is not a ???Sales Tax??? the consumer is subject to. This is an added ???Activity Tax??? cost for providing
services, and due to the limitations of proprietary software, this is the most efficient trackable way to include the
expense in the sale price of services.
