Dear Parents/Guardians of MDIC,


Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah.
1. It has been more than a year that we are fighting against the deadly virus named CORONA. Since the
declaration of closure of on-campus classes according to the directives by the government of the
Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh, Manarat authority has been putting its concerted efforts to run all
activities of the college including teaching virtually. We have been persevering with patience,
Alhamdulillah! It is said in the Holy Quran: “Oh you who believe! Seek help with patience,
perseverance and prayer. For Allah is with those who patiently persevere.” Al Quran (2:153)
2. Amidst all adversities, we could, Alhamdulillah, carry on with our regular academic classes for the
session 2020-21 and could hold the Half Yearly exams from class 3 to 9 in due time. At the same time,
Continuous Assessments (Exams) went on for playgroup to class 2. It is for your kind information that
our Final Assessments have been completed for playgroup to class 2 and we have finished conducting
Annual Examinations for classes 3 to 9, Alhamdulillah. We hope to publish results of annual
examination for junior section (both shifts) on 20 June 2021 and for senior sections (both shifts) on 21
June 2021.
3. In addition to all these, our faculties and staff shouldered the gigantic tasks of awarding ‘Predicted
Grades’ and ‘School Assessed Grades’ to our O & A - level CAIE candidates for the last exam of May-
June 2020 and May-June 2021 series as Cambridge could not hold exams physically. In Sha Allah, we
hope for the best outcome in this session.
4. Considering the financial constraints of our respected parents/guardians we awarded 10% reduction
on the fees for all students of the session 2020-21. Moreover, quite a good number of students were
awarded with half/full free studentships and other concessions as well in this session.
5. You will be happy to know that due to this pandemic, we have also reduced a considerable amount of
fees for the coming session 2021-22 temporarily suspending some non-essential expenditure.
Moreover, the total payable amount has been equally distributed to four quarters to ease the burden
on parents/guardians. You are requested to pay the fees following the “Tuition Fees” chart provided
(online) with the documents for admission.
6. I would like to request all our revered parents to bear in mind that our fees are less, comparing to
other English medium schools. More reduction than this will make it impossible for us to continue the
pay and allowances for the faculties and staff. My humble request to you remains to clear the dues
always and help us in running the college smoothly. Your kind consideration is solicited in this regard.
7. In the battle against COVID-19, we had some casualties amongst our parents, friends and relatives.
Many of our faculties, staff, students and their parents fought and are still fighting against COVID-19
infections. We express our deepest condolences for the bereaved and their families and pray for early
recovery of those who are still suffering.
8. We all have been enduring all the tests and trials with patience and perseverance till today. May Allah
make it easy for us in the days to come. During the time of deep trial, despair or sadness we, Muslims,
seek comfort and guidance in the words of Allah expressed in the Holy Quran: “Indeed, Allah is with
those who patiently endure.” Al Quran (8:46)
