In Module 4 you will learn about finding and keeping a job. Think about the proverb found at the
beginning of the module: "Ang magandang buhay ay makakamtan sa pamamagitan ng husay sa
trabaho at sakripisyo" (The good life is to be earned with hard work and sacrifice).
ANSWER: For me the real meaning of this proverb is that life was not full of happiness it is full
of work and sacrifices in order to have a better life.
What do you think the proverb says about finding and keeping a job?
ANSWER: This proverb says about finding and keeping a job in order to be like a leader in your
office or job. This leadership is the way to keep your job because being a leader can lead you to
promote you from success.

ANSWER: I remember when I was in High school that I had my first job. I was very excited
about that job for the reason that I want to earn money. My goal is to earn more and more. At
first, my job was very new to me. But day by day, I want to stop this kind of job for the reason
that it made me bored. But on the other side, if I stop this job, how can I pay for our hills. I want
to help my mother to pay those hills in order for her to be happy. So I made a choice that I
wouldn't stop until 1 find a new job.

What steps did you take to find a job? What went well? What didn't?
ANSWER:
In finding a job, first you must prepare a comprehensive resume or curriculum vitae. This
showcases your work experiences, educational background, seminars you have attended, and
your skills and abilities.
Next, identify the job positions of your target. Base your target position on your background and
experiences. Make sure that you fit the position that you are applying for.
Always be prepared. Perform a mock interview with a friend or just yourself looking in the
mirror. You may look for possible interview questions in the internet and answer them as if you
are talking to a real interviewer.
