If exterior surfaces face persistent seepage or dampness, investigate and arrest the source of leakage or seepage, let the surface dry and then apply
Alldry Waterproof coating. Ensure we provide slope to horizontal surfaces and proper drain to avoid any stagnant water accumulation.

PAINT APPLICATION PROCESS

SURFACE PREPARATION

01 Newly plastered surfaces must undergo complete curing. Ensure thorough filling of any spot putty, crack filler, etc.

PRIMER APPLICATION
Whether dealing with freshly plastered surfaces or repainting, apply a single coat of Birla Opus Calista Perfect Choice Primer/
equivalent Birla White exterior primer by diluting 1 litre of primer with 1 litre of water. Allow it to dry for a minimum of 4 hours
under adequate sunlight.

02 OR
WATERPROOFING BASECOAT APPLICATION
If you wish to apply Birla Opus Alldry waterproof coating/equivalent Birla White waterproofing product, please follow the
application procedure as per the PIS of the basecoat used. For terrace areas, use the recommended terrace waterproofing
product. To guarantee effective waterproofing, apply waterproofing products within the suggested coverage.

TEXTURE APPLICATION (OPTIONAL)

03 Enhance beauty of the surface by choosing Birla Opus One textures. If you wish to apply a texture, please follow the
application procedure as per the PIS of the texture used.

TOPCOAT APPLICATION
04 Dilute 1 litre of paint with a maximum of 400 ml of water and apply 2 to 3 coats for optimal coverage. Allow a 4 to
6-hour gap between each coat to ensure proper hiding. Add an extra Coat of Topcoat for Horizontal Surfaces.

POST-PAINTING STEPS
For the best paint performance, regularly wash and clean surfaces to remove dust, stagnant materials, and any

SAFETY MEASURES
