Slide 1: Title Slide

Hello, everyone! Today, we’re excited to present our project, the IoT Child
Detector in Car Security System or IoT-CDiCSS. This project was
made to help keep kids safe in cars by alerting caregivers if a child is
accidentally left behind.

Slide 3: Abstract
As cars get more advanced, they still don’t have many features to keep
children safe if they’re left inside by accident. Our project uses sensors to
detect if a child is in the car and sends real-time alerts to caregivers
through an app on their phone. This way, we can make sure children stay
safe with quick notifications if someone forgets about them in the car.

Slide 3: Objective
The goal of our project is simple:

1. Detect Children in Cars: We want to use this system to help keep

children safe inside cars.

2. Test the System: We’re going to test it under different conditions

to make sure it works well.

Slide 4: Methodology
Here’s how we created our project:

1. Project Flow: We started by designing, buying the parts, and

programming. After putting everything together, we tested and fixed
any bugs to make sure it works correctly.

2. Building the System: We made drawings, tested the code, and put
together all the pieces to complete the system.

Slide 5: Results
Our system can tell the difference between when a child is present and
when no one is there. The sensor readings clearly show when a child is
detected, and it works better when the sensor is close to the child without
any objects in the way.

Slide 6: Advantages
Here’s why our system is great:
 Prevents Accidents: It can help prevent accidents by alerting
caregivers if a child is left in the car.

 Real-Time Alerts: Notifications are sent immediately, so caregivers

can respond quickly.

 New Innovation: This is a new type of product in the market and

opens up more opportunities in the car industry.

Slide 7: Sustainable Development Goals Related to Our Project

Next, I’m going to talk about how our project connects to some important
global goals, called the Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs. These
goals are set by the United Nations to make the world a better place for
everyone.

Our project, the IoT Child Detector, relates to three main SDGs:

1. Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being

Our system helps keep children safe in cars. If a child is accidentally
left alone in a car, the system sends an alert to the caregiver. This
can prevent serious health problems, like heatstroke, by letting
someone know immediately. So, our project helps keep kids healthy
and safe, which is what this goal is all about!

2. Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure

This goal is about using new ideas and technology to make
industries better. Our project uses cool technology, like sensors and
a mobile app, to make cars safer for kids. It’s an innovative way to
solve a real-world problem, and it can be added to cars or car seats
to improve safety.

3. Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities

This goal is about making our cities and communities safer and
more livable. By keeping children safe in cars, our project makes the
community a safer place for families. It’s a step toward making cars
and cities more child-friendly, which helps make communities better
for everyone.

Slide 8: Commercialization Potential

This system could be useful for:

 Car Seat Makers: They could add this technology to baby car
seats.
 Car Makers: Car companies could add this system to make their
cars safer.

 Education Kits: Schools and companies could use this as a training

kit to teach others about child safety in cars.

Slide 9: Conclusion
To wrap up, our project is designed to keep children safe by alerting
caregivers if a child is left in the car. We tested it to make sure it works
well, and we’re excited that it can help make cars safer for everyone.
