Q4: (USING EXCEL SOFTWARE)

A mineral filled bottled manufacturing company inspector, tested the quality volume of the filled
bottled (in oz) produced by the four company production lines, by taken a sample every 10 min
from each line (Total sample size = 25), as shown in table (2). Using the EXCEL SOFTWARE:

1- Calculate the average (X) and the Range (R) of each sample of the four lines

2- The mean of the whole process (X) and the average Range (R) of the whole process

3- The central line, Upper and Lower Control Limits for X (UCL, and LCL) and the Range (UCLR
and LCLR)

4- Create The X-R Control Charts
