2. TEXT WELCOME TO PARIS AND LINK VOCARIO

 PARIS
Hello, my full name is Andres Merchan Ochoa and I going
to present: PARIS.

I want to travel Paris, because I want to visit some

places to Paris.

First, I going to buy tickets by Paris for I travel on July

25th; The airplane is black and white, it arrives to Paris at
6:30am. In Paris, I want to into to the metro because the
metro passes through many tunnels, in addition I go to
past the Eiffel tower and up it, in addition I go to under the
arch of triumph, this is a pretty good place. I want to eat
the Croissant because it is a very delicious food, in
addition I go to across the Rue de Rivoli street and I go to
over the bridge of the arts, in addition I visit the Louvre
museum and I go to into the Best Premier Faubourg 88
hotel.

In conclusion, I going to visit many places in Paris and

eat some typical foods, although I should have much
money because it is very expensive, finally it is worth to
do it.

Prepositions are short words that show time, place, direction, etc.
Some examples of prepositions are at, on, in, to, from, above, under,
of, and between. In this lesson, we will study prepositions of place.

A. Common Prepositions of Place

B. Common Sentence Patterns for Prepositions of Place

There are two common sentence patterns

that we use with prepositions of place.

1. The + noun + verb + preposition + the + noun.

• The cookie is on the plate. (singular)

• The strawberries are on the plate. (plural)

2. There + is + (a) + noun + preposition + the + noun.

• There is a cup of coffee on the table. (singular)

• There are bananas on the table. (plural)

C. Prepositions of Place with Similar Meanings

Some prepositions have similar meanings.

MY DAILY ROUTINE

Hi! My full name is Andres Merchan Ochoa. I am

seventeen years old, and I like English. I am from
Saravena/Arauca, but I live in Medellin. My day
usually stars quite early. I always get up at 5:10
am, I usually have a breakfast at 5:25 am, I
normally brush my teeth, and I always take a
shower at 5:40 am. I go to university Sena at 6:00
am and I often go out the university Sena at
11:30 am, I sometimes arrive my house at 12:00
pm. I occasionally play soccer on Saturday; I like
playing soccer. I always my neighborhood in the
morning but I hardly ever walk my neighborhood
at night. I usually going to sleep at 9:00 pm, I
seldom going to sleep at 12:00 am but it is bad
my body. I sometimes visit my friends, but they
never visit me, however they are my best
friends.
