The NCC Day Celebrations were held on November 15, 2024, at CRC lawns and Guest house,
SVNIT. The event was organized to commemorate the founding of the National Cadet Corps
and to celebrate the achievements and contributions of the NCC cadets. NCC Day is a special
milestone in every cadet’s journey, celebrated with the energy and excitement of a festival. It’s
a day full of challenges, teamwork, and joy, creating lasting memories.
The day began with a spirited 2.5-kilometer Unity Run, where all cadets pushed their limits
and embraced a competitive spirit, showcasing their capabilities. After the run, stretching
exercises were performed. Then a series of activities like push-ups competition, square push-
ups, german drill and buddy pair games to strengthen bonds within the cadets. Then there was
an introduction held among the cadets of all the years. The most thrilling part of the event was
the Tug of War, where teams consist of cadets from all three years who came together to
compete, bond, and revel in the spirit of unity. These challenges tested the cadets' endurance,
pushing them to diligently complete each task. With this, the morning sports parade concluded,
leaving everyone in high spirits. After a short break in the evening cadets again assembled for
cultural celebration in SVNIT guest house.
As night fell, the highly anticipated 'Cultural Night' began, showcasing the cadets'
extraordinary talents through captivating performances in acting, dancing, and singing.
The cadets engaged in nightly practice sessions, meticulously refining their performance skills
for the Cultural Night segment of NCC Day. These practices provided an opportunity for
everyone to learn new skills and push beyond their comfort zones.
When the much anticipated evening finally arrived, cadets were all thrilled to show off
everything they had prepared and rehearsed. Everyone in attendance was cordially welcomed
by the evening's hosts, Cadet Mihika Chavda and Cadet Hriday Samdani. The event
commenced with the auspicious Saraswati Mata Puja, marked by the lighting of the lamp,
symbolizing wisdom and enlightenment. Following this, the Dean SW S.R.Patel sir felicitated
Havaldar Pandurang , Captain N.K.Dutta felicitated Naik Mahesh followed by the felicitation
of Captain N.K.Dutta by former SUO Nishant joshi and SUO Prathamesh Vyas. JUO Prince
Dhart felicitated Dean SW S.R.Patel.
The evening then unfolded with vibrant energy, beginning with an enthusiastic group singing
performance by the second-year cadets, setting the tone for the cultural extravaganza.The stage
then came alive with a powerful skit performed by the first year cadets, showcasing one of
NCC's most vital roles in society – creating social awareness. Through their heartfelt act, they
highlighted how NCC cadets not only train for leadership and discipline but also actively
participate in various social outreach programs.
Then Cadet Nikhil Mohan shared a heartfelt poem, expressing his journey and
experiences in NCC so far. The first-year cadets impressed the audience with their Group
Singing performance, showcasing vocal harmony and enthusiasm. This was followed by a
high-energy Group Dance, blending contemporary and classical styles with impressive
synchronization. Next came Cadet Ayush Patel's heartfelt poem, a beautiful tapestry of words
that wove together his journey and cherished experiences in NCC so far. The second-year
cadets brought Rattrap to life in a humorous skit. From dramatic dialogues to iconic dance
moves, they added a hilarious twist, making the audience roar with laughter. The punchline left
everyone in splits. It was a brilliant mix of comedy and drama.

Then the guests delivered inspiring speeches, sharing their wisdom and encouraging cadets to
continue striving for excellence in both our academics and extracurriculars. Followed by the
anchor’s heartfelt vote of thanks. The event concluded on a high note, leaving all the cadets
with unforgettable memories and a sense of joy, making it a truly remarkable day for
everyone involved.
REPORT – RANK DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY 2024
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Rank Distribution Ceremony was held at Production seminar
hall, SVNIT on November 10, 2024. Cadet Bodhini Jain and Cadet Sadhana Devaranjan
delivered the welcome address, introducing the guests and briefing about the event. ANO Lt.Dr
Yogesh Sonvane felicitated PI staff Havaldar Vaibhav Jadhav, Havaldhar Ballabh Kumar and
former SUO Nishant Joshi felicitated ANO sir.
The ceremony aimed to recognize the dedication, hard work, and achievements of NCC cadets
and to ensure the efficient operation of the organisation. Cadets are conferred ranks to maintain
a smooth flow of information so that all the official work can be carried out efficiently and their
juniors can be trained well. Cadets in their third year were recognised and awarded officer
ranks by the chief guest and ANO sir, including notable positions such as
Senior Under Officer (SUO): "Under the guidance of ANO and PI staff the Senior Under
Officer administers the management of the company. Senior Under Officer influences how the
college is perceived within the battalion. Sergeant Prathamesh Vyas was awarded the rank of
SUO.
Company Sergeant Major (CSM): CMS oversees the discipline and is responsible for
upholding the standards of the company. The cadets’ overall drill practice is supervised by the
Company Sergeant Major. The Company Sergeant Major investigates the entrance and exit of
supplies. Cadet Shiyal Avinash was awarded the rank of CSM.
Junior Under Officer (JUO): The Junior Under Officer assists SUO in maintaining proper
discipline and order in NCC. Junior Under Officer takes command of the company in absence
of SUO. Sergeant Savan Bhatiya, Corporal Patel Bhavya, Corporal Prince Dhart were awarded
the rank of JUO.
Company Quarter Master Sergeant (CQMS): Company Quarter Master Sergeant manages
the documentation and unit's logistics, like the distribution of uniforms, equipment, and
supplies. CQMS manages the inflow and outflow of materials in NCC’s warehouses. Sergeant
Arya Patil, Cadet Anurag Prakash Pilankar were awarded the rank of CQMS.

After the distribution of ranks PI staff and ANO sir delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing
the importance of discipline and patriotism, which resonated deeply with the cadets and
encouraged them to uphold the values of the NCC. Then the anchors concluded the ceremony
with the vote of thanks.
The ceremony was a grand success, with cadets celebrating the achievements and hard work
of the NCC cadets. The event concluded with a sense of pride and optimism for the future.
