Job Description
What does this role entail?

As most organizations embrace innovation and digital technologies to serve as the catalyst for
their growth, cyber risks have become more real and impactful to success. Many CEOs are
increasingly citing cyber risks as one of the key risk types that can impact their organizations.
PwC’s Cyber Risk and Regulatory platform helps organizations across sectors to successfully
manage different types of enterprise risks, including cyber risk. Cyber Strategy, Risk,
and Compliance is a practice within PwC’s Cyber Risk and Regulatory Platform and focuses
on helping clients with the following:
● Understand and evaluate cyber risk exposure for the organization
● Design cyber strategy to effectively manage cyber risks and to achieve organization’s
broader business imperatives
● Establish cyber governance and operating model to ensure cyber risks are adequately
managed and governed
● Measure compliance of cyber programs with various industry standards and regulatory
expectations such as FFIEC, NIST, HIPAA, FedRamp, etc.
● Quantify cyber risk in dollar terms and articulate cyber risk exposure to C-suite Executives
and the Board
● Manage external cyber risks associated with organization’s third parties and supply chain
● Support in cyber related regulatory compliance and response management
● Help clients successfully and securely navigate adoption of innovation such as Generative
AI

As an associate with PwC US’s Bangalore Office, you will be part of the broader PwC US
Advisory firm, and will be supporting clients of PwC US and delivering cyber strategy, risk, and
compliance services. You will collaborate with colleagues both in India and the US to deliver
these services. Your day to day work as part of this role will require the following, and will
evolve as you progress in your career:
● Demonstrate knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO
27001, FFIEC Information Security Handbook, HIPAA Security, etc.
● Perform cybersecurity risk and threat assessments of the organization
● Evaluate cybersecurity compliance against various industry frameworks and regulatory
requirements
● Develop cyber governance and operating model
● Develop executive presentation materials related to assessments, including reports and
strategic roadmaps
● Present results of the assessments and strategy to your colleagues and client
stakeholders
● Provide advisory support related to cybersecurity strategy, governance, risk, and
compliance to clients across industries
● Support business development activities led by the US team, including creation of
proposals and points of view
● Support the US colleagues in developing new service offerings and associated
methodologies and accelerators

✦ MBA/PGDM from a premier B-School and an undergraduate degree in engineering (e.g.,
