EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT

This Employment Contract ("Contract") is entered into on this [Date], by and between:
Ambient Bar and Restaurant
(Hereinafter referred to as "the Employer")

(Hereinafter referred to as "the Employee")

1. Position and Duties


1.1 The Employer agrees to employ the Employee as Head Chef.
1.2 The employee shall perform the duties and responsibilities that his/her position or job
necessarily entails, as may be contained in his/her JOB DESCRITION or as may be reasonably
assigned to him/her by the Company from time to time. The specific duties and responsibilities
of the EMPLOYEE are contained in the corresponding JOB DESCRIPTION (as hereto attached),
which wherein EMPLOYEE acknowledges to have read and understood as a condition for his
regularization.
The employee is obliged to perform his/her duties loyally, independently, and industriously to
help meet the goals and objectives of the Company and is expected to carry out these
responsibilities to the best of his knowledge and abilities in order to protect and advance the
interests of the Company, its principals, and its employees.
1.3 The Employee agrees to work in compliance with all company policies, procedures, and
health & safety regulations.

2. Term of Employment
2.1 This Contract shall begin on October 1, 2024 and continue until terminated by either party
in accordance with the terms outlined in this agreement.
2.2 Employment may be terminated by either party with or without cause, subject to the notice
period outlined in this agreement.
3. Compensation
3.1 The Employer agrees to pay the Employee a salary of 40000 on a Monthly basis, which shall
be paid on a bi-monthly basis, subject to applicable tax deductions.
3.2 The Employee is eligible for overtime pay, for non-managerial position, in accordance with
applicable labor laws for hours worked beyond 48 hours per week.
3.3 The Employee may also be eligible for tips, commissions, or bonuses, subject to the
Employer's policies and at the discretion of management.
3.4 All payments shall be made via existing applicable company payroll method.

4. Working Hours
4.1 The Employee's normal working hours shall be scheduled by the immediate superior.
4.2 The Employee acknowledges that working hours may vary depending on the Employer's
business needs and peak periods, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
4.3 The Employer will provide the Employee with adequate notice in case of changes to the
regular work schedule.

5. Employee Benefits
5.1 The Employee is entitled to the following benefits after 1 year of service:
 Vacation days: 7 days
 Sick leave: 7 days
 HMO
5.2 Benefits are subject to the Employer's policies and eligibility criteria.

6. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure


6.1 The Employee agrees not to disclose any confidential or proprietary information related to
the Employer's operations, trade secrets, customer information, or business strategies during or
after the term of employment.
6.2 This obligation remains in effect even after the Employee's termination from the Employer.

7. Termination of Employment
7.1 Voluntary Termination: The Employee may terminate this contract by providing [insert
notice period, e.g., two weeks] written notice to the Employer.
7.2 Involuntary Termination: The Employer may terminate this contract at any time with 30-day
notice or immediately for cause, including but not limited to:
 Gross misconduct or violation of company policies
 Insubordination or failure to perform job duties
 Dishonesty, theft, or illegal activity
 Chronic absenteeism or tardiness
7.3 Upon termination, the Employee agrees to return any company property, uniforms, or
equipment in their possession.

8. Health and Safety


8.1 The Employer will provide a safe and healthy working environment in compliance with all
local health and safety regulations.
8.2 The Employee agrees to follow all safety procedures, including those for handling food,
beverages, and equipment, and to report any safety concerns to the Employer.

9. Conduct and Behavior


9.1 The Employee is expected to maintain professional conduct at all times, particularly in
relation to customer service, coworkers, and the public.
9.2 Any behavior deemed inappropriate, such as discrimination, harassment, or substance
abuse, may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

10. Miscellaneous
10.1 This Contract represents the entire agreement between the parties. Any amendments or
modifications must be in writing and signed by both parties.
10.2 If any provision of this Contract is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of
the Contract will continue in full force and effect.
10.3 This Contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert
Jurisdiction].

11. Acknowledgement and Agreement


By signing below, both the Employer and the Employee acknowledge that they have read,
understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions of this Employment Contract.
