Remove the moisture on the squeegee rack


off then attach it properly.

Close the top cover and attach

Weekly Checks Execute the Weekly Checks when the message,
“TODAY IS MAINTENANCE DAY” appears at the Start Up Checks.

1 EXECUTE START CHECK


TODAY IS MAINTENANCE DAY

Upper turn guide 2


(1) Remove the inlet guide,

upper turn guides 2 and 5.
CAUTION
When the squeegee rack is
attached, remove it as well.

(2) Wash the inlet guide, upper turn guides 2


and 5, and squeegee rack with running
lukewarm water.

Wash the processing racks in order of the


3 number on the racks from the upper side
using the washing bottle.

Reattach the inlet guide, upper turn guides 2 and 5, and squeegee rack as they were.
4 IMPORTANT
Reattach the inlet guide after drying it completely.
Reattach upper turn guides 2 and 5, and squeegee rack after removing
the moisture off.

This completes the Weekly Checks.

Splicing and Developing Splicing is the operation to join the film with
the leader card.

This section explains how to splice 135 film.


For how to splice 110 film, refer to the Operator’s Manual - for operator -.
For how to splice IX240 film, refer to the Operator’s Manual of Film Processor Modification Parts for IX240.

There is a danger of cutting hands on edged tools.


CAUTION Keep your hands away from edged tools.

Pull the film tongue and attach

If glue of splicing tape is left
on the leader card, wipe it
off completely.

IMPORTANT

Never use the leader cards under the following conditions.

5 mm or more
1 mm or more 1.5 mm or more

Do not use the joint part of the splicing tape, the adhesive face
exposed to the air for a long time (more than five hours) or with
hand sebum.
