About Course Director


Prof M D Agrawal brings his 4-decade Industry and teaching experience in curating content. He has delivered
multiple short duration courses for CIOs and Industry senior professionals at SJMSOM, IIT Bombay, IIM Mumbai and
IIM Kolkata. He has designed AIMA’s flagship courses in Digital Transformation and Digital Business management
which have continuously received excellent feedback during the last 3 years.
He carries strong passion to share his knowledge and experience in preparing & empowering participants of the
courses with most practical approach and in-depth learnings of global best practices. He is also responsible to build
a pool of faculty from premier institutes and practicing CIOs with his rich bounds with industry and academia for
delivering content of these courses. He is former General Manager IT and Chief Information Officer of downstream
BPCL, India’s second-largest oil major. Prof Agrawal was the advisor to TCS from 2014 to 2019 to design innovative
and cost-effective solutions for clients and design strategy for downstream domain excellence.
He is associated with premier institute IITB since last 11 years as a visiting professor and also served IIM Mumbai and
IIT Gandhinagar as adjunct professor. Prof Agrawal had spoken many National and International forums, had
organized numerous conferences and led Computer society of India as national President, Bombay Management
association as President. Recently for his excellent contribution in field of education, Higher Education forum has
recognized him with Best teacher award. He is well known for his holistic and strong inclination for continuous
research and sharing same for IT and business fraternity. He is Gold medalist in Master’s course.
