Working
Soil Moisture Sensing: The soil moisture sensor continuously monitors the moisture level in the soil. It
provides analog or digital signals to the ESP8266.[1]

ESP8266 Processing: The ESP8266 reads the moisture data from the sensor. Based on a predefined
threshold, the ESP8266 decides whether the plants need water.

Decision Making: If the soil moisture is below the set threshold, the ESP8266 activates the water pump.
Otherwise, it keeps the pump turned off.

Water Pump Activation: When the ESP8266 determines that the soil is too dry, it activates the water
pump to deliver water to the plants.[3]

Pump Duration: The ESP8266 can control how long the water pump stays active. This duration can be
preset or adjusted dynamically based on environmental factors.

Cycles and Delays: The system can be programmed to operate in cycles with defined intervals
between watering sessions. This prevents overwatering and gives the soil time to absorb the
moisture.[5]
