Introduction

In today’s digital era, e-commerce has become an essential part of the global economy. This
project aims to design and develop a robust, user-friendly e-commerce platform that enables
seamless online buying and selling of products. It focuses on providing an efficient shopping
experience by integrating essential e-commerce features such as product catalogs, secure
payment gateways, user management, and order tracking.

Objectives

 Develop a dynamic and responsive e-commerce website accessible on various devices


(desktop, mobile, tablet).

 Provide users with easy browsing, searching, and purchasing functionalities.

 Implement secure payment gateways to support multiple payment methods


(credit/debit cards, UPI, wallets).

 Build a robust admin panel for product management, inventory tracking, and user

Scope of the Project

 User Module: User registration, login/logout, password recovery, and profile


management.
 Product Module: Categories, product details (name, price, description, images),
discounts, and recommendations.

 Shopping Cart: Add, remove, and modify products with real-time price calculations.

 Payment Gateway Integration: Secure payments using PayPal, Stripe, UPI, and COD
options.

 Order Management: Track orders, generate invoices, update status (shipped, delivered,
etc.).

 Admin Panel: Manage users, products, inventory, orders, and view analytics reports.

 Search Functionality: Search filters by category, price range, brand, and ratings.

 Customer Support: Chatbot or contact form for handling inquiries.
