Lorainne: Today, we will be witnessing outstanding talents of our learners as they share their
skills and gifts in conducting the Book Character Costume Contest.
Ollie: One of the objectives of this contest is to promote a love for reading and character
exploration by involving students, teachers, and parents in this meaningful activity.
Lorainne: You are right sir. Another thing is to will develop their creativity, teamwork and the
embodiment of values from literature through engaging presentations that showcase character’s
unique qualities and lessons.
Ollie: So, to begin with, may we request everyone to please stand in our Opening Prayer to be

Lorainne: Thank you so much. You can now be seated.
So much for that, may I call in our hardworking OIC-School Head, EPS Science to give us our
Opening Remarks, Ma’am Rochelle S. Balete. Let’s give her around of applause.

Ollie: Thank you so much Ma’am Rochelle for that inspirational message to all of us. For our
next presentation, May I call in, Ma’am Ertha D. Escalante to give us a performance in the story
telling. Let’ us give her an applause.
II. PRESENTATION (Ertha D. Escalante- Araw sa Palengke)
Lorainne: Thank you so much Ma’am Ertha. We are proudly saying that teachers in PSES-
Golden City are very talented. In fact, Ma’am Ertha also did story telling performances in our
Barangays’ and she’s very happy and overwhelm to share her talent to children.
Ollie: Now to explain the Book Character Costume Contest Proper, let me call in our Reading
Focal Person, as well as the Teacher’s League President, Ma’am Eunice Joanna C. Hayag.

Lorainne: Thank you so much Ma’am Eunice. I feel now the nervous of our contestant. I know
that you are all excited to all prizes waiting for you. That is why to be fair and square to
everybody, we choose non-teaching personnel as Judges in our Contest. For the introduction of
the Judges, May I call in our Master Teacher I, Ma’am Anny P. Ave) Let’s clap our hands.
