Student Committee Director Positions Overview
Student Committee Director Positions Overview
Positions
There are currently seven available Director positions on the CSChE 2015 Student Committee, with the
Directors reporting directly to the Student Chair and assigned Faculty Advisor/Student Liaison. With the
conference being two years away, the current time commitment is not significant, with meetings
scheduled approximately once a month. Please note that this will change as the conference date
approaches and that it is a commitment to serve on the committee until the conference end date, on
Oct 7 2015.
While this may seem like a fairly large commitment, I can assure you that it will be an amazing
opportunity to build experience and connections both within the industry and with academia, as well
as with students in engineering from across the world. Being able to add this role to your portfolio can
only serve to benefit you in the future and will be nothing but a rewarding experience.
Moreover, serving on the conference committee will allow you to share your knowledge and creative
ideas in order to bring Calgary an unforgettable Canadian Chemical Engineering Conference!
Please note: The Directors’ roles are only a rough overview of the duties; since the conference is two
years away, selected applicants will have a lot of opportunity to enhance and shape the role as they see
fit.
