Good day!

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to formally request approval to conduct a research study
entitled "Nursing Limitation: Impacts of Cultural Diversity in Delivering Nursing Care to the Culturally
Diverse Communities in Davao Occidental" within the premises of Davao Occidental General Hospital.
This study is a collaborative effort of the 3 rd Year Nursing researchers, Janna Nina O. Elemento, Twetie
Nacin, and Stella Marie Salvador.

The objective of our research is to investigate the challenges and opportunities associated with providing
nursing care to culturally diverse communities within Davao Occidental. We believe that understanding
the cultural dynamics at play in healthcare delivery is essential for enhancing patient outcomes and
promoting health equity in our region. We are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards
throughout the research process, including ensuring participant confidentiality and obtaining informed
consent.

We are reaching out to you, as the Medical Chief of Davao Occidental General Hospital, to seek your
approval and support for our study. We kindly request assistance in identifying potential participants, and
any other resources or guidance that you deem necessary for the successful completion of our research
project.

We believe that the findings of our study will not only contribute to the body of knowledge in nursing and
healthcare but also inform evidence-based practices that can enhance the delivery of culturally competent
care within our hospital and beyond.
