Performance task 3
Keeping a daily reflection journal
I enjoyed observing our virtual cooperating teacher class. From the beginning, I felt
supported, and she instilled in me the confidence I needed to keep going. I believe I am
capable of creating relationships, planning, and time management. When I saw our cooperating
teacher's courses via virtual platform, interacting with students in a virtual class is excellent,
and it's a fantastic environment for getting to know them better and forming relationships with
them. My cooperating teacher took the time to show me how she plans a detailed lesson plan,
and I gleaned a lot of useful information from her. As a result, I was able to arrange my lesson
plan quite effectively utilizing understanding by design. Over the virtual observation, my time
management abilities have clearly improved when planning. I had a great time observing in my
cooperating teachers' virtual class. The things I'd change are minor and straightforward, and
the lessons I've learned are priceless. I couldn't have wished for a more helpful teacher or
learners.
WRITING MY REFLECTION
After observing the classes of our Cooperating Teacher by motivating learners to learn,
the instructional materials bring learning to life. The use of instructional materials in the
classroom has the ability to assist the teacher in effectively explaining new concepts, resulting
in a greater grasp of the concepts being taught by the students. Information Communication
Technology (ICT) tools, on the other hand, contribute to high-quality lessons by increasing
student motivation, connecting students to a variety of information sources, supporting active
in-class and out-of-class learning environments, and allowing teachers to devote more time to
facilitation. The aspect of instructional cycle that I capable of doing are when discussing the
lesson, I easily get the attention of the learners and I answer immediately their question of the
lesson. I think the areas that I need to improve are more confidence and oral speaking that
appropriate the medium of instruction.
