Coppell High School Aerospace Club Safety and Liability Form

Safety and Liability Agreement

As a member of the Coppell High School Aerospace Club, I understand and agree to the following terms and conditions
regarding safety, liability, and participation in club activities:

1. Liability for Damage:


I acknowledge that any damage caused to club equipment, parts, or materials while working, testing, or flying will result in the member responsible for the damage being held completely liable. The liable member may be fined or asked to reimburse, depending on the magnitude of the damage incurred (propellers and damages incurred during flight are not included).

2. Safety Rules Compliance:


I agree to adhere to all safety rules and guidelines outlined in this document and any additional rules provided by club
advisors. Failure to follow these safety rules will result in complete restrictions from participating in club activities.

3. FAA Exam Requirement:


To operate drones in or for the club, all members must take and pass the free FAA TRUST pilot license exam without
any form of cheating (will be offered by the club). Proof of passing the exam must be submitted to the club advisors prior
to participating in any drone-related activities.

4. Assumption of Risk:
I understand that participation in the Aerospace Club involves inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents and
injuries. I acknowledge that the school and the Aerospace Club are not responsible for any accidents or injuries that may
occur during club activities.

5. Indemnification:
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the school, club advisors, and fellow club members from any claims, damages,
or liabilities arising from my participation in club activities.

7. Acknowledgment of Understanding:
