OVERALL CONTEXT/ By holding a joint camp, both organizations demonstrate the
RATIONALE: importance of gender inclusivity, showing that leadership, service, and
adventure transcend gender boundaries. This fosters respect,
collaboration, and understanding between male and female scouts,
reinforcing the principle that everyone can contribute to society
equally, regardless of gender. Scouting aims to build leadership skills,
character, and responsibility in young people. By bringing BSP and
GSP together, scouts will learn to work with diverse groups and expand
their leadership capabilities in new contexts. Camps and rallies offer
scouts an opportunity for adventure, physical activities, and personal
development. With the combined participation of BSP and GSP, these
experiences become richer and more diverse.
