Instructions to Customer (if anything is applicable)

Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS), all types of GTT, Lipid Profile, Triglycerides, Vitamin B12, Folic
acid & Homocysteine:
Report to the lab in a fasting condition (i.e., 10 to 12 hours of overnight fasting). Do not drink any
juice, tea or coffee. You are allowed to drink water. Do not smoke, chew gum or exercise. These
activities may stimulate the digestive system and alter results.

For X-rays and ECG:


Wear simple cotton dress which has minimal interface.

Sample Collection for Urine or Stool Tests:

You may carry your urine or stool samples in a clean washed container (containers will also be
available at the center)

For Urine, Throat Swab and other cultures:


Give the sample BEFORE taking any antibiotics. The samples must me given in the morning
only, since they are more likely to contain the organism.

Sputum Sample for AFB, MTB - PCR, Genexpert MTB - RIF and MDR TB:
Give the first sample collected in the morning before even brushing the teeth. Thoroughly clean
his / her mouth by drinking water before expressing specimen.

Urine collection for urine routine / microbiological testing:


The initial portion of the urine stream is allowed to escape while the midstream portion is
collected in the container, Physical examinations and certain imaging tests for women require
the presence of female attendant (unless performed by a female medical professional).

Instructions to Service partner


Do not collect any payment or generate an invoice for this appointment.

Please hand over the physical reports to the voucher holder (Unless otherwise specified).

NOTE:

• Some checkup can take upto 4-5 hours to be completed. Please co-operate.

• ekincare is not responsible for any additional services you take directly at the service partner.

• You cannot reschedule your appointment more than 3 times.

• Please note that due to Pandemic, the Hospital/Clinic may have stopped the Breakfast
facility. We would suggest you to please make an alternate arrangement for same while
going for your check up.

• Please be noted that we do not share your email ID or phone number with our partner
unless needed for transactional purposes. In case you are sharing the mobile number or
email with the partner, ekincare is not liable for any marketing communication received
