QGIS in A Glance
QGIS Quick Guideline – Version 01.0

• QGIS is a program that suitable for MapInfo alternative.


Here is the link that give us comparison between two
programs:
MapInfo vs QGIS
• Not limited for Windows only, QGIS is also available for
MacOS and Linux.
So, anyone working with any platform, is able to use this
application.
• Beyond that, QGIS is a free and open-source Geographic
Information System. Hence, no need to purchase any
license to work with this program.
• Since QGIS is an open-source program, there are so many
free plugins that can help you to have the job done.

• All Core Plugins 1. Click Plugins à Manage and Install Plugins
