Youngsters, in contemporary times, are allocating a tremendous amount of time on smartphones.

There are
some relevant reasons for this situation. This also exists some pros and cons, however, I concur for the
predominance of the downside improvement.

To commence with, there are myriad reasons for the overuse of smartphones in children. Chief of
these is the convenience and availability in connecting youngsters’ relationship . To elucidate, thanks to the
flourishing of telecommunications network and texting apps, adolescents can not only text, but also call and see
each other face in real time via a smartphone screen. For instance, there are some widely-known apps, namely
Messenger, Zalo, QQ Chat, etc. that allow them chatting regardless distant barrier. Another purpose for this situation
is the variety in online information storage. Children could approach innumerable useful information on
miscellaneous websites through a single mouse click. Thus, it could broaden their mind and cognition, facilitating
the curiosity in searching something new.

On the other hand, smartphones is the main factor for the societal isolation. To be more specific, youngsters
would rather stay online rather than meet someone directly, creating a communicative ignorance tendency. Hence,
this could gradually expand a gap among relationship, which leads to the diminishing in children’s communicative
skill. Moreover, another negative aspect of this development is the influence on adolescents’ overall health and well-
being. According to a reliable survey, interacting to phone’s blue screen could cause grave ailments, such as optic
problems, delirious, health impairment, stroke, … As a ramification, the general health of young people would
decrease, resulting the inefficiency, distraction and ineptitude in jobs and real life.

In conclusion, the overconsumption of smartphones in children is caused by the efficiency and diversity in
smartphones’ features, which also triggers deleterious downsides that harmful for them.
