A Narrative Report on Clean-Up Drive

To secure a clean environment, pollution free surroundings, promoting and adopting an


environmentally friendly school, Labayug National High School initiate a clean-up drive with
the support of the Principal of the school Mrs. Marilou C. Bilagot and Senior High School
Teachers and Students together with the Barangay Council of Sugcong, Pozorrubio, Pangasinan.
The Clean-up Drive headed by the SHS Coordinator, Mr. Julio M. Bocauto Jr. was successfully
done on March 25, 2022.
The Clean-up Drive was introduced to the students and encourage adoption of practices
like recycling, that can have a profound effect on waste management in the community. A clean-
up drive can also bring about a sense of community and responsibility to keep our homes and
common areas safe and clean. Visible results might lead to a heightened interest and involvement
among community members in reducing garbage and food waste, and preserving the
environment.
The said activity, truly signifies the importance of partnership in creating a conducive
learning environment for the learners and in the community.

BEFORE
The area was surrounded by mixed garbage thrown away
by the people in the community.

DURING
Senior High School Teachers segregated plastics, bottles and cleaned the
surroundings together with the students and the Brgy. Council of
Sugcong, Pozorrubio, Pangasinan.

The Brgy. Council of Sugcong, Pozorrubio, Pangasinan together with the SHS
Teachers headed by Mr. Julio M. Bocauto Jr. and the Students of Labayug National
High School.
