SUBJECT: 501-C and Legacy Parts

CFR is providing this communication to help clarify messaging around the 501C octane meter. Responding to voice of
customer and hearing questions of product availability and life, CFR is enhancing its offerings for the 501C and related CFR
Legacy components.

CFR has utilized its product expertise and vast supply chain experience to strengthen the supply and support of the CFR
501C meter and related Legacy components, which remain key to the customers of CFR Engines Inc. The supply of new
501C meters and components remains secure and readily available. With the new CFR Engines Inc. production operation in
place, the lead time for part repairs has been reduced and improvement efforts continue.

Listed below, please find an updated list of components related to the 501C which continue to be in stock and remain
readily available. Any of these components may be ordered through the appropriate local CFR Distributor for prompt
fulfillment.

CFR also recognizes the customer’s needs during the transition from other Legacy systems and components to XCP
systems. In support of these transitions, CFR remains committed to supplying the below listed components.

• A111462B – Dual digital ignition delay meters
• 111463C – Combustion pickups
• 111465A – Injection pickups
• Dual digital meter input cables (multi-color)
While the Legacy components remain available, the XCP system remains the next generation platform of choice for Octane
or Cetane testing. The XCP platforms utilize modern technologies, interfaces, and testing accountability. CFR Engines Inc.
continues to work in tandem with its channel partners to promote and advance its technology efforts using the XCP
platform. To help ease the transition from Legacy to XCP, CFR remains committed to supplying critical Legacy panel
components through the transition.
