skills among them.
3. To promote research attitude among faculty and students
Vision
Develop proficient Civil Engineer with technical competency and managerial ability so as to contribute in nation building.
Mission
1. To impart technical proficiency in civil engineering through quality teaching learning process.
2. To mentor civil engineering students for competitive services, higher studies and allied research to meet societal needs.
PEO1. Graduate would be able to apply technical competence to identify and resolve problems of Civil Engineering and enabling them for lifelong
learning to meet specified needs of society.
PEO2. Graduate would be able to exhibit professionalism along with use of modern scientific advancements for successful careers in different
sectors of Civil Engineering.
PEO3. Graduate would be able to exhibit professional ethics, management and leadership qualities which will facilitate interpersonal skills and
thus evolving as an entrepreneur.
PSO 1. To provide the students with comprehensive and balanced understanding of core domains in Civil Engineering.
PSO 2. To be able to proficiently design and build Civil Engineering-based systems in divergent domains in consideration to the societal needs
to serve the community as ethical and responsible professionals.
PSO 3. Expertise to identify, analyze, design and delivering solutions to various Civil Engineering problems to promote sustainable development.

Instructions to Students
3. Student should communicate to Guide on regular basis regarding progress of Project Stage I.
Guidelines for Project Stage I Evaluation
These are the guidelines for successful conduction of the B. Tech projects in an effective and uniform manner. The B.Tech. project stage I is a partial requirement
for successful completion of the degree. It is expected that these guidelines will help with overall improvement in the quality of B.Tech. Projects along with
improvement in the evaluation process.
Evaluation Procedure:
The students will be evaluated based on 3 Review Presentations, Evaluation by guide of the project, evaluation of project report and evaluation by external
examiner.
• For each of the above, students will be evaluated as per the Rubrics (Set of Rules) given in this document.
• For each of the assessment students will be evaluated against the parameters mentioned in rubrics using Three To four levels and for each level marks are
associated with the same.
• Students are informed to go through this document carefully and accordingly plan and execute their project work.
