1.How far do you travel to school?


It’s about 5km from my house to school

2.Have you ever used the public transportation?


Yes of course. I used to limousine from phu tho to ha noi

3.Which means of transportation is the most popular in Vietnam?


I think that the most popular in Vietnam is motorbike. Average one house will have 1
motorbike per person. It suitable for everyone.

4.Did you ride a bike to school when you were a kid?


Yes I do. When I was a kid, I have bike and ride a bike to school. At the time I
went with my cousins to school.

5.Can you ride a motorbike?


Yes I can. I signed up for driving lessons in 8th
grade and now I have a motorbike driver’s license.

6.Why do some people hate using public transportation?


I think that some people hate using public transportation because it have many people,
very crowded, uncomfortable and maybe have smell unpleasant.

7.How can we encourage more people to take public transportation?


` Public transportation have many advantages. First travel costs are very cheap, only
ranging from tens of thousands to several hundred thousands dong. Second its also very
convenient. That’s why we encourage more people to take public transportation

8.Would you like to ride a bike to work in the future?


No . Because in the future I may have a busy job so I can’t ride a bicycle. I want to
take time to work and rest, I am not waste time for ride a bike.

9.What are the differences between traveling by plane and traveling by train?
First the price of a plane is 5-10 times more expensive than a train. Second the flight time
will be shorter than the train time. Third flying is more comfortable than travelling by train.
However travelling by train we
will see many beautiful sceneries out there that cannot be found by plane.

10. Are there any transport problems in your city?


Yes of course. I am living in ha noi city. There are many means of transportation
here. During rush hour, traffic is very congested. Normally it takes me a lot of time
to get home.

I usually get around in my hometown by bike. It is very environmentally friendly and i also
save a lot of money using it.

2.What is your preferred mode of transportation for short trips?


I preferred using by car for short trips. It can hold a lot of things. In addition it is
very convenient to be able to protect yourself from the rain and sun, when you
arrive, you can leave your car there and walk around

3.Have you ever taken public transportation like buses or trams? How was the
experience?
Yes I do. Public transportation like buses or trams very popular at my place but i have never
taken a bus before. Actually I don’t like it very much. I think it is uncomfortable because bus
have very people, I will feel motion sick.

4.Can you ride a bicycle? Do you use it for transportation?


Yes I can. When I was in middle school, I used it to hang out around the village with my
friends

5.What do you think are the benefits of walking as a means of transportation?


Walking can help reduce traffic congestion and keep the environment clean by
reducing dust from other vehicles. In addition it also helps improve health.

6.Have you ever used applications such as Grab and Be for ride-hailing and food delivery?
Yes of course. These application are very convenient. When using it I don’t worry about not
having vehicles . Not only is it convenient but it is very cheap with many discount codes.

7.Do you think it's important for people to have a driver's license? Why or why
not?
Yes I do. Driver's license very important for people. When having a driver’s license
the driver can prove that they are capable of driving the vehicle.

8.Have you ever traveled in a crowded subway or metro? What was it like?
i never traveled in a crowded subway or metro. But I saw it on TV. There are so many
people on the subway, everyone has to jostle each other to get a place on it..

10. What improvements would you suggest for the transportation system in your
area?
I think first step to improvement would be to widen the roads and build to overpasses and
underpasses to help traffic flow more freely which would reduce the congestion in the city center

I will go to school when I have a class schedule.

2. Is it convenient to take a bus/ taxi in your city?


Yes of course. The bus only departs every 20 minutes and taxis are available just
by calling. That is very suitable for today’s busy life.

3. How do most people commute where you live?


People usually commute by motorbike. Average one house have 2 motorbike.

4. Do you have pedicabs in your country? Are they popular? Why/ Why not?
No. Pedicabs is only popular in tourist areas and not in everyday life because it is very
slow and depend on the pedicab driver.

5. Do you prefer public transport or private transport?


I prefer private transport because it is more convenient than public transport. When
we own it, we will proactively go here and there, not depending on whether this car
is running or not or when a car will arrive.

Yes there are. The bus stops right at the entrance of my house. I don’t know where
it starts and ends but it stops at my school gate. Very convenient for me when
going to school.

I can get taxi on the applications such as grap, be and taxi will stop in my house

3.Is the money you pay for a journey “fare” or “price”?


I think it is the price. Price includes fare and travel expenses for a journey

4.Is the amount of money something costs “fare” or “price”?


I think that fare is the money you have to pay to visit somewhere or it can be the
price of a ride. The price includes all expenses such as travel fares and food costs.

5.What is the money you get back when you pay than the price?
When I give them more money than the price paid they will give me back the remaining
money.

6.What is the piece of paper you receive to show you paid for something?
It is bill. On the invoice it has the total value that I have to pay.

9.Do you have a smartphone app to call a taxi?
Yes I have. I have call a taxi on smartphone. It very convenient and fast. In
addition it is even cheaper than going out because there are many advantages on
the smartphone.
