Problems Statements:

• Long Wait Times: Pa%ents o+en experience long wait %mes for checkups, which
can nega%vely impact their health and lead to increased frustra%on.

• Difficul8es in Booking Appointments: Many individuals find it difficult to book


appointments in person due to work commitments.

• Communica8on Challenges: Pa%ents frequently struggle to connect with


recep%onists over the phone, leading to unanswered calls and missed
appointments.

• Limited Informa8on on Doctors: Pa%ents o+en lack essen%al informa%on about


available doctors and their special%es, forcing them to accept treatments from
assigned providers without knowing their qualifica%ons.

• Challenges in Booking Appointments


Pa%ents must physically go to the hospital or call during limited hours to schedule
appointments. This inconvenience makes it hard for them to access healthcare,
resul%ng in missed appointments and delays in receiving care.
• Manual Record Keeping

Relying on paper-based appointment systems leads to errors and lost pa%ent


informa%on, crea%ng confusion and inefficiencies. A digital solu%on is needed for
beGer management.

Ini8al Features

• Pa8ents can easily register and log in to their accounts. They can search for doctors
by specialty and book appointments if the doctor is available. Pa%ents can pay
their appointment fees online and cancel appointments if needed. All upcoming
appointments and details are accessible from their profiles, making the process
simple and convenient.

• Doctors can easily manage their profiles, including their qualifica%ons and
availability. They have access to a dashboard where they can view and manage
upcoming appointments, as well as a list of scheduled pa%ents.

• Admin has the ability to create doctor profiles and view all appointments and the
list of doctors, pa%ents. The admin is also responsible for adding available %me
slots to each doctor's profile, ensuring that pa%ents can book appointments during
specified hours
• Feedback
Once the ini%al features are complete, I will add a feedback system that allows
pa%ents to rate doctors and services. This will help providers gather valuable
insights to improve care quality and enhance the overall pa%ent experience.

The system offers hassle-free user authen%ca%on and role-based access for pa%ents, doctors, and
admins.

I will con%nue to research and surely will be adding more features a+er
comple%ng the ini%al func%onali%es. Your feedback and guidance will help me
improve the project and ensure it meets the needs of both pa%ents and healthcare
providers.
