REQUEST FOR DEFERRED ENROLMENT
In certain cases (failure to obtain a visa, the required qualification,
accident, illness, etc.) it is possible to obtain a deferral for a maximum
period of one year. The admission offer is thus maintained, and the
candidate can enroll in the school the following academic year. Given the
postponement of your school year, the financial schedule will be updated
according to the financial terms of your new school year.

Requests for deferral should be made by e-mail to

[email protected] one month before the start date of
the program. The Director of the School will decide whether or not to
accept the request.

A request for deferral does not alter the school's enrolment procedure in
any way. In particular, it does not exempt the applicant from paying the
enrolment fee within 3 calendar weeks after the announcement of the
offer, nor from providing proof of qualification one month before the start
date of the program.

In case of failure to obtain a visa the following year, the application fee is
refunded according to the above-mentioned refund procedure.

supporting documents.

• Failure to obtain the qualification which enabled the application to

of the program, upon presentation of official supporting documents.

•Failure by Institut Lyfe to open the program on the scheduled date

as advertised.

weeks from the date of receipt of the first admission email,

Institut Lyfe aims to make its training provision accessible
to as many students as possible. The introduction of a
scholarship and bursary policy was initiated under the
patronage of the Fondation of Institut Lyfe.
Equal opportunity scholarships and excellence

CROUS INCOME-RELATED BURSARIES
Institut Lyfe is the first privately-owned higher education institution in the hospitality and food service industry to be
recognized by both the French Ministry of higher education, Research, and Innovation and the French Ministry of Labor.

Recognition by the Ministry of higher education, Research and Innovation allows you to receive, under certain conditions,
income-related bursaries from the Crous and thus to take advantage of its benefits such as partial coverage of the cost of
your studies, exemption from university registration fees, and exemption from the CVEC (Contribution to Student & Campus
Life). More details on the Institut Lyfe website.

Students who applied to Institut Lyfe via the Parcoursup platform must also apply for a bursary directly via the same
platform.

For international students, CROUS scholarships are available subject to certain conditions, the most important of which is
having declared a tax household in France in year Y-1. You can also consult the Campus Bourses catalog, a tool published
by Campus France that will give you quick access to all scholarships - listed - according to your nationality, field and level of
study.

STUDENT LOANS
Alternative solutions to scholarships can also help supplement your budget, such
as a bank loan.

Institut Lyfe has two partner banking institutions. These partners offer student loans
at a preferential rate to finance all or part of your studies with the appropriate
conditions.

Banks grant loans to international students only if they have guarantors in France.
