Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) conducts the APPSC Group 2 Exam
every year to recruit the eligible candidates for various gazetted and non-gazetted positions in
the state government offices of Andhra Pradesh. The selection procedure of the APPSC Group
2 exam is conducted in three phases- Prelims, Mains and Personality Test/Interview. The
candidates who will clear the APPSC Group 2 Prelims will only be eligible to appear for the
Mains exam. The candidates are advised to be thorough with the APPSC Group 2 exam
pattern and syllabus in order to prepare the best for the exam and crack it easily. APPSC has

APPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam Pattern 2022


The APPSC Prelims exam includes three sections each carrying 50 marks. The total duration
of the exam is 150 minutes and 150 questions are asked in total. There is no negative marking
in the exam. The APPSC Group 2 Prelims exam consists of three sections-

The APPSC Group 2 Mains exam consists of three papers each carrying 150 marks. The total
exam duration is 450 minutes and the total marks are 450 marks of all the three papers
included. The APPSC Group 2 Mains exam includes three papers as listed below:
