1. Contents sequence problems


 Pathology, microbiology (microbes), parasitology (parasites, worms)
 Time with contents to be covered
 Overview of antimicrobials (antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antiparasitic) (2hrs)
o general classification, mechanism of action and resistance mechanisms
o antibacterials missed totally
 Pharmacology of common ant-parasitic and anti-helminthic drugs (2 hrs.)
 Parasitology not delivered
 Pharmacology of drugs used for the treatment of HIV/AIDS (2hrs)
o other antivirals missed
 Pharmacology of drugs used for treatment of tuberculosis(1hr??)
o Students stated they not learn pathology here (introduction module)
 Pharmacology of common ant-parasitic and anti-helminthic drugs (2 hrs.)
o Students not know about worms??
o Should be after parasitology and pathology (reversed)
o Ant amoebic, giardiasis, trypanomiasis, Toxoplasmosis
 Anti-malarial and leishmaniasis drugs (1hr??)
o Time insufficient & sequence correct, but not accordingly
 If no objective on skill on subject (OSPE/OSCE??)
 If no practical laboratory sessions (biomedical lab exam) should be restricted to this
competence the students learned practical
