Learning Activities
During my internship, I learned how to communicate and build relationships with the people
I worked with. I will become proficient in Microsoft Excel by creating spreadsheets to be
used to conduct company recruitment drive. Knowledge or skills I hope to acquire during the
internship such as learning to use appropriate procedures or methods. Skills I hope to apply
or cultivate such as self-confidence, interpersonal skills, working effectively with others,
professional meeting/email/telephone etiquette, networking, written communication,
relationships with supervisors, time management, organization, decision making, etc. I
learned how to introduce myself, as well as ask questions and gain a better understanding of
organization not only in co-working space, but also others in market. This process helped me
develop my professional network and emphasized the importance of creating these
connections.
Gaining new information regarding the company, the industry, or job duties. As an intern I
discovered its essential to be enthusiastic and open to learning new skills, asking for more
work and being curious to learn and ask questions.

 On the job:
As an intern in the human resource department, I will become proficient in Microsoft Excel
by creating spreadsheets to be used to conduct company recruitment drive. My spreadsheets
and written analysis will be evaluated by my site supervisor. I will develop stronger people
skills and learn how to establish a strong customer relationship by attending client meetings
and listening to telephone conversations. I will learn more about recruiting by helping to
develop and validate skill assessment tests for job applicants. I had a journal and took notes
every day about new things I Learned, Feedback was given by my manager, strengths and
weaknesses I noticed, and things I wanted to research and learn more about. I will build upon
my classroom learning regarding wage and hour laws by reviewing current practice in the
payroll department. I also will expand my knowledge of employee benefits and insurance.

 Teaching/Mentoring Activities:
Technical skills vary widely between industry and job type. Microsoft Excel Identify and
organize and sort data into meaningful categories, sorting worked hours and organizing
employee profiles and expenses, which help businesses better understand the structure and
activities of their workforce. Faster and more accurate decision making, seamless data
visualization. Customer service representative may need technical skills relating to customer
management and telephone system. Communication is the key to success in a professional
environment. I learned that it’s important to communicate with my manager via phone, email
or SMS if I have questions or if I don’t know how to work on a task. Asking for and
receiving professional feedback is very important. It is essential to take note of both the
positive and negative points for the future, so you can grow and excel in your career. I am
really grateful to have had the opportunity to do an internship and have received so much
value from what I learned.

 Evaluation:
I will conduct presentations to department & mentor, and assist with at learning & challenges
in presentation which have faced during my internship. My supervisor will evaluate my skills
in through presentations.
The other evidence i will provide to my faculty Mentor to document what i have learned
during my internship is oral presentation, the mail which I have sent to the people, the
certificates of the courses which Reliance provide me and I have learned, and the spreadsheet
of the data which I have collected with the deadline dates.

Job Description:
 Part III: The Internship

 Assist the Campus and Talent Management team working across India in
planning/organizing/executing the Interns & Campus / early career programs strategy
as part of the Campus Team. This will include scheduling, organizing campus &
virtual events
 Update and maintain the college information and key spreadsheets, managing the pre-
onboarding process for interns and graduates
 Responsible for weekly and monthly data and ensuring all data is properly captured.
 Maintain and manage events calendar, trackers (candidate data, campus contacts,
recruitment cycles, and resources, etc.)
 Insight into the hiring strategies & recruitment practices
 Support for D&I initiatives

Supervision:
 Clarifying the purpose of assignments.
 Providing detailed directions and instructions.
 Working with the student to complete tasks.
 Regularly reviewing the My workload.
 Provide timely and meaningful feedback.
 Providing a variety of learning activities.
 Clarifying expectations for my performance.
Reviewing my workload, setting the expected standards, monitoring and reviewing
