A RESOLUTION TO RESCHEDULE THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN ASSEMBLY


TO MAY 11, 2024.

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 10742, also known as the "Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act
of 2015," mandates the conduct of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Assembly twice a year, to be
held every second Saturday of March and October, to discuss matters affecting the youth and to
formulate policies and programs for the youth;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Gastav deems it necessary to reschedule


the SK Assembly due to unexpected benchmarking of our SK Chairman and unavailability of the
SK Council.

WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the youth and the community to ensure maximum
participation and effective discussion during the SK Assembly;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of SK Member Rick Farley F. Doletin, duly seconded by SK


Member Erica Ryna Calva, be it:

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to reschedule the Sangguniang Kabataan Assembly from


the April 13, 2024 to May 11, 2024.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the SK Secretary is hereby directed to inform all concerned
parties of the new schedule and ensure the necessary preparations for the assembly.
RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this resolution be furnished to the Office of the
Barangay Captain, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), and other
concerned agencies for their information and appropriate action.

Adopted this April 6, 2024 at Barangay Gastav, Banisilan, Cotabato,Philippines
