This morning we are going to talk about the different parts of a
thermometer and its function.
> Show a clinical thermometer.
> Have the pupils describe the thermometer.
> Guide them in identifying the parts of the thermometer.
D. Explanation
So, a thermometer is an instrument used to measure body
temperature.
A thermometer has its parts and functions namely
Glass Tube- holds the glass bulb
Glass Bulb- contains the mercury.
Scale- tells how far the mercury rises and goes down.
Mercury- liquid inside the bulb which rises when hot and goes
down when it is cool.
