CROCHET PATTERN

by thisisOlya_crochet
Hi, This is Olya!

Thank you for trusting me and choosing to crochet

chair socks using this pattern.
Here, two sizes of socks will be presented. For my standard
chairs, with leg diameters of 2.3 сm, the Cat Paw #1 fit well.
I recommend crocheting both sizes, starting with the smaller
one, and deciding which suits you best.

HOW TO CHANGE THE COLOR
AND FIX THE YARN ENDS
The explanations you'll see on the next 5 pages are based on a small size pattern.
But don't worry if you're crocheting a larger size. Just adjust number of stitches in your
mind, like changing from 8 to 10, for example.

HOW TO CHANGE
THE COLOR?

#1 Make 8 single crochet stitches

#1 #2 into the magic ring

#2 Tighten the magic ring

white yarn # 3 Unravel the last 8th single
crochet, and hook the white yarn

#4 Pull the white yarn through the

last 8th single crochet.
Continue crocheting with white
yarn

HOW TO FIX THE ENDS the end of the white yarn

OF THE YARN?

#1 Place 2 ends of pink and

of the new row. Secure them #1 #2
firmly with your finger

HOW TO MAKE A PUFF STITCH

Think of making the puff stitch as if you were making a group of 4 incomplete double
crochet stitches into the same stitch.

#1 #2 #3

#4 #5 #6

#1 Yarn over (as if you were going to make a half double crochet)

#2 Insert hook into the stitch. Yarn over and pull up a loop. Pull
through 2 loops. (You’ll have 2 loops on hook)

# 3 Yarn over, Insert hook into the same stitch.

#7 Use your finger to make the

puff more voluminous.
#7 #8
#8 Chain one to secure the top
of the puff stitch.

#9 Crochet a slip stitch in the

next stitch

#10 Repeat it all 3 times, to get

4 cat pads

HOW TO CROCHET
THE ROUND 4
!NOTE!
Before starting the 4th round, we have 3 stitches on each cat pad.
In order to get 16 stitches at the end of the row, we crochet only 2 stitches of the 3 on each pad.

Final result!

Make 3 more of these same

socks, for the remaining legs
of your chair
Phew, I'm glad you made it to this page!

This means either you just decided to read the

end or you've crocheted your own cat paws.
I hope it turned out well and you enjoyed the
process.

“Now your floors will be safe

from scratches.
And if you have kids, your
neighbors will also
be spared from the constant
chair moving :)”
