ICPCH Lesson Plan
Course Description
Students who complete this course will be able to describe the internal
components of a computer, assemble a computer system, install an operating system, and
troubleshoot using system tools and diagnostic software.
Course Objectives
1. Students must understand the names and functions of hardware ports and the
parts of the motherboard.
2. Students must identify the names and distinguishing features of different kinds
of input and output devices
3. Students must understand how the CPU processes data and instructions and
controls the operation of all other devices.
4. Students must understand different kinds of memory and storage devices
