summed up with the formula S=a1−rS = \frac{a}{1 - r}S=1−ra, where aaa is the first term and rrr is the
common ratio. Here, a=1a = 1a=1 and r=12r = \frac{1}{2}r=21. Plugging in these values, we get
S=11−12=2S = \frac{1}{1 - \frac{1}{2}} = 2S=1−211=2. So, this infinite series sums up to 2!"
