Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Applicants shall be citizens of the

Republic of India. Duration of
Age: Applicants shall be less than twenty (20)
Scholarship
years of age as of April 1st, 2025, & unmarried.

Academic Background & School Records:

Minimum aggregate marks of 80% in HSC
examination or SSC (in case appearing for HSC) of
5 yrs
no extension

CBSE or ICSE board.

Japanese language study:
1.0 year (12 months) at
For Science background: Mathematics, Physics,
Japan Student Services
Chemistry & English.
Organization, Tokyo,
Japan (JASSO)
For Commerce background: Mathematics,
Economics, Business Studies & English. University study:
4.0 years (48 months)
Japanese Language: JLPT N3 Certificate (If
student has N4 clearance & preparing for N3 it may
also be considered basis language proficiency)

Health: Please obtain a Character certificate from

the school & a fitness certificate from a doctor.

& Computer Science, Biology, Biophysics &
Engineering, Environmental Engineering, etc.
Biochemistry, Geology, etc.

Mechanical Engineering, Precision Ship Building & Ocean Engineering,

Engineering, etc. Aeronautics, etc.

Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information Industrial Engineering, Factory & Production

& Communication Engineering, etc. Management, Plant Management, etc.

Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, etc. Metallurgy, Materials Science, etc.

Agricultural Engineering, Forest & Fishery Science, Agricultural

Chemistry, Agro biology, Food Engineering, etc.

Due to course term reason, applicants are not entitled to choose Medical science, Pharmaceutical science
and Veterinary science as field of study.

(b) Study of Social Sciences, Business and Commerce (4-years under-graduate course) such as;

Economic Theory, Economic History, Civil Law, Public Law, Political Science, etc.
